The Follies of Youth
The Follies of Youth is a network of emerging artists and curators based in Leeds. It was founded by Pavilion in 2012 as an initiative that addresses the need for better professional development in the visual arts.
We are currently inviting emerging artists and curators to participate in the next instalment of The Follies of Youth that will form part of the About Time programme. Working with curator and writer Lara Eggleton, participants will undertake a series of workshops that respond to the About Time themes, will develop new skills, engage with professional artists and gain hands-on experience of contemporary art programming. The programme will run from 8 October 2015–31 January 2016. To register your interest please email [email protected] with a brief overview of your interests, art work and recent experience by Friday 2 October. The opportunity is open to all but is particularly aimed towards students, recent graduates and emerging artists including those not in employment.
