A screening of films and videos by artists, originally conceived to punctuate the flow of commercial cinema and TV. Stripped of context, the works are left to jostle with one another in an extended ad break for the arts.
Including episodes from 9 Intervals, Pavilion’s 2011 commission with Aurélien Froment, alongside works from the 70s and 80s by David Hall, Lis Rhodes, Jo Davis and Chris Burden.
The programme has been put together by Will Rose, a curator and producer of artists’ film and video based in Leeds.
